Job Description

Job Title: Senior Data AnalystLocation: Hybrid (3 days remote), Toronto, CanadaExperience: 5+ YearsRole Summary: NearSource is looking for a Data Analyst to support enterprise-scale data engineering and analytics initiatives. This role focuses on optimizing data pipelines, profiling non-compliant user behavior, and enhancing automated campaign performance for a Fortune 500 product company.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable ETL pipelines and manage databases to ensure efficient and secure data operations
  • Engineer data models and workflows aligned to business goals and campaign needs
  • Define and enforce data quality standards and validation protocols
  • Analyze user datasets to uncover patterns indicating non-compliance or misuse
  • Deliver insights and actionable strategies through advanced data profiling and analysis
  • Optimize data infrastructure to enable automated campaign deployment and tracking
  • Improve system performance and scalability for high-volume campaign execution
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficient in developing ETL pipelines and managing complex databases
  • Hands-on with Python, advanced SQL, and Spark
  • Experienced with AWS, Airflow, Git, Snowflake, and DBT
  • Familiar with Salesforce and Adobe Analytics platforms
  • Bachelor #39;s or Master #39;s in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong analytical mindset with a history of data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication, business judgment, and stakeholder management
  • Skilled in BI tools and Excel
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with PowerBI dashboards
  • Exposure to data science, ML, or MLOps environments
