Job Summary: This senior software developer role requires a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The position involves reviewing, updating, and enhancing existing code, developing new features, conducting thorough testing and deployment, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders. The role blends on-site and remote work responsibilities. Location: Remote, United States Responsibilities: - Review, understand, and update existing code and architecture. - Develop new features and enhance existing ones based on specifications. - Provide accurate work estimates for project planning and update business rules. - Apply structured methodologies and best practices to ensure high-quality code. - Ensure seamless application functionality with the OS and peripherals. - Create custom reports using Microsoft technologies. - Conduct testing, integration, and deployment of developed changes. - Analyze and recommend solutions for production defects. - Document developed code and transition responsibilities to other resources. - Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members. - Design new modules and functionalities to meet business needs. Required Skillsamp; Certifications: - 10+ years in cloud governance, data center migration, hybrid/cloud identity and access management, secure cloud and network design, device management, M365, Microsoft Defender suite, Azure Sentinel. - 8+ years with IaaS, PaaS, DRaaS, Storage as a Service, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Elasticsearch, Azure Blob Storage, Python, Logic Apps, pipelines, and repositories. - 8+ years coding in SQL using SQL Server Management Studio. - Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including services like Azure Streaming Analytics, Data Bricks, Event Hubs, and Synapse. - Experience with multi-threaded applications, concurrency patterns (C#), web applications, web services (SOAP, REST), and Windows client applications. - Strong technical skills in CLR, debugging, refactoring, optimization, object-oriented programming, design/architectural patterns, UI design principles, and scalable application best practices. - Excellent consulting and communication skills and a track record of stakeholder engagement and team collaboration. - Experience building enterprise-level applications safeguarding sensitive information. - Knowledge and experience with public sector governance methodologies (e.g., UPM, architecture gating). - Ability to design new modules and functionalities to meet business/client needs. Preferred Skillsamp; Certifications: - Experience in backend reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
