Job Description

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years experience working in the Health and Safety field in a manufacturing production environment/setting
  • Ability to interpret and apply health and safety related legislation, standards, and guidelines.
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulations, safety programs, documentation and reporting requirements, safe work practices, and equipment/operator certification requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in developing policies, procedures, safety talks; conducting hazard assessments and workplace inspections in a manufacturing environment.
  • Assessment of site specific requirements which include emergency protocols, safe work plans and procedures and regulatory requirements. * Experience in developing and delivering training, familiarity with ergonomic assessments and occupational hygiene testing.
  • Experience with auditing site safety performance and evaluating program implementation. Able to recommend corrective actions as needed and follow up to ensure implementation.

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $52,000.00-$58,000.00 per yearBenefits:
