Machine Technician III (Midnight Shift)SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:As an advanced Machine Technician III, the Machine Technician III applies intensive and diversified knowledge in operating blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems. The role is responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. Machine Technician III is also responsible for following our companys Good Manufacturing Practices.REPORTING TO:Production SupervisorRESPONSIBILITIES: Machine Technician III (Midnight Shift)This job description has been prepared as a guide to ensure better communication and understanding. Your manager may from time to time ask you to perform other related duties not specifically included in this description. Likewise, this description will be revised when required to meet current business needs.In addition to Machine Operator and Machine Technician I responsibilities, the Machine Technician III role will include, but is not limited to the following:

• Demonstrates mastery of Machine Operator and Machine Technician II skills.
• Complete process adjustments – from mold change to start up.
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical problems.
• Understanding of sequence of cycle on machinery to help diagnose and pinpoint causes of issues.
• Can operate all lines in the plant.
• Able to make most processing adjustments without relying on the process team.
• Demonstrates ownership of operation by suggesting and making improvements as needed.
• Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.
• Receives instructions on specific job tasks by Lead Operator or Supervisor. Assistance is provided on unusual problems and work is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.
• Follow Company safety rules as per Supervisor’s instructions including wearing personal protective equipment 100% of the time and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed.
• All other duties as assigned, including learning of other job requirements and assisting as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:The requirements listed below are a minimum requirements for the job.

• Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Completion of Altium Machine Technician Level III training.
• Advanced mathematical skills are required.
• Advanced computer experience.
• Minimum 5 plus years’ equivalent machine operator experience.

• Problem Solving in Production & Continuous Improvement.
• Firm grasp of health and safety codes.
• Flexible and self-motivated with strong organizational, detail-oriented & multitasking.
• Coachable; Professional; Flexible schedule; Approachable; Quick learner; and Self-motivated.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.
