Job Description

Allied Threaded Products Inc. in Orangeville, Ontario is looking for a Production Operator.The role is responsible for operating equipment to cut threaded rod, studs, and bolts to customer specification in an accurate and timely matter.About ATP:Allied Threaded Products is one of Canada’s largest industrial fastener distributors with locations nation wide.   • Operate the machinery (programmable auto feed industrial band saw, threading machines, chamfer machines, etc.) as well as monitor and verify it is operating correctly at all times
  • Perform quality checks as required
  • Responsible for set-up and operation of equipment
  • Perform all required documentation and organization for material received, moved, scrapped, and quality verified
  • Responsible for the visual inspection of equipment with complex parts, preventative maintenance, as well as area upkeep and cleanliness
  • Operate forklift
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Wear the proper safety equipment
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Work independently and as a team member
  • Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
  • Perform other duties as defined by supervisor
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Able to work independently and part of a team
  • Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Must be able to regularly lift 60 lbs at a minimum
  • Forklift license is considered an asset
