Job Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Picking, packaging, wrapping, and strapping of customer orders
  • Receiving of incoming goods
  • Preparation of shipping documents
  • Inventory and cycle counts
  • General warehouse activities – cleaning and organizing of warehouse
  • Communicating with other shippers in department on different shifts
  • Maintain housekeeping at an acceptable and organized level. This includes all workstations, floors, cleaning of tools and equipment, organizing and stacking of material
  • Ensure all work is performed according to procedures and work instructions
  • Understand and follow all Health and Safety concerns
  • Understand, follow, and enforce all Quality System procedures and work instructions
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience in packaging, palletizing and skid wrapping
  • Forklift experience/license
  • Basic computer skills with some data entry experience, use of hand held scanners
  • Possess manual dexterity, ability to lift > 50 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow workflow and schedules
  • Above team average attendance
Shifts
  • Night shift – 10 hour shifts, Monday – Thursday 10pm – 8:30am
