PSP delivers evidence-based programs, which contribute to the health and well-being of the military community and operational effectiveness of the CAF.THE ROLEUnder the supervision of the Acting Aquatics Supervisor, the Gym Attendant (Outdoor pool) greets visitors, establishes nature of business and directs them to appropriate area or person. They also: ensure access to the facility and services is by authorized clients only; verify identification cards of clients entering the facility; ensure safety and enforce rules concerning conduct and use of equipment; and patrol the facility to ensure rules and regulations are being followed.We are looking for dynamic, independent and motivated individuals to join our team, helping us ensure recreation is all about fun!QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and LicensesAn acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experienceCurrent CPR and Basic First Aid qualificationsExperienceIn cash handlingIn using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail and Internet browsingCompetencies, Skills and AbilitiesClient focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadershipLANGUAGE REQUIREMENTSBilingual EssentialReading: NoneWriting: NoneOral: FunctionalBENEFITS AVAILABLEWork Life Balance: Vacation pay.Retirement Planning: Group Savings Plans.Learning and Development: Free second language training.OTHER INFORMATIONThis is an on-site position.
