Job Description

*Server/ Sommelier Responsibilities:

  • 3 years and up in fine dinning service.
  • Creating and updating wine lists with the Wine Consultant, chefs and manager.
  • Making recommendations on food and wine pairings.
  • Ensuring that the wine cellar is fully stocked.
  • Informing guests on the variety of wines available.
  • Training wait staff on available wines.
  • Negotiating prices with vendors.
  • Organizing wine tasting events.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations.
Sommelier Requirements:
  • Certification as a sommelier or a degree in hospitality is beneficial.
  • Previous experience as a sommelier, wine steward.
  • Extensive knowledge on wines and regions of the different types.
  • Knowledge of local vineyards and wineries.
  • An understanding of the wine making process.
  • Available to work nights hours, weekends, and local travel to wineries. Fine Dining Server:

Fine Dining Server with a minimum of 3 years of experience in fine dining in upscale restaurants.Great Attitude and classy image to represent our classy RestaurantFine Dining Servers work to provide exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.Hours for Fine Dining Servers position are nights and weekends.Fine Dining Servers should expect to spend a great deal of time on their feet. They also need to be coordinated and sufficiently strong to move seamlessly around the area and carry items without incident.Competition for jobs at upscale establishments likely will remain high because of their higher earning potential.DISHWASHER REQUIREMENTSDishwasher duties and responsibilitiesA Dishwasher has daily duties and responsibilities essential to keeping a restaurant or other food service establishment working at an optimal pace. Some common duties for a Dishwasher include:
  • Collect all dishes, cutlery, and glasses
  • Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and glasses are properly sanitized before further use
  • Clean kitchen tools and appliances properly before use
  • Assemble food for patrons
  • Clean kitchen floors, storage areas, and take out the trash
  • Keep cupboards and storage area clean and organized
