We are looking to fill a rental marina manger position which is a contract beginning mid-June located in the South Okanagan, that’s right you get to work in the best weather in the province. Starlite Marina is the largest rental marina on Osoyoos Lake and has been in business for over 30yrs. A fun, exciting and work environment designed to provide our guests with the greatest rental experience possible.Looking for someone passionate about dealing with people in high paced hands-on environment and:*Manage staff of up to 10*Maintain extremely high level of guest satisfaction through excellent service*Primary rep for customer relations*Execute marketing and price strategies in coordination with executive management*Coordinate and execute reservation and rental operations of +20 rental boats and equipment*Order placement and inventory management of retail store*Understand, implement, and adjust business systems on a continual base*Cash management day to day*Love interacting with people in a professional manner*Be able to confidently deal with customer complaints and issues in a professional manner*Strong computer skills*Very adept at multi-tasking and delegating*Basic retail/cashier management skillsPrior rental operations experience an asset*Prior boating skills would be considered a nice to have but not necessary as we would provide on job training*Being able to work in a high paced environment and still have fun is a must*Honest, trustworthy and caring person looking at making those around them better through a positive attitude and strong work ethic.*Enjoys a busy work environment.Must have valid work permit.Job Type: ContractQuick Apply
