Duties include managing guest access to the pool, hot tubs and gym area whilst providing outstanding guest service that meets and exceeds guest expectations. The Pool Attendant must possess a positive and upbeat personality, have the ability to multi-task and be confident in explaining COVID-19 related policies to guests. Pool Attendant reports directly to the Guest Services Manager.Responsibilities· Manage the pool booking system and make bookings in person· Monitor safety and security in the pool area ensuring all rules are followed.· Ensure timeslots are adhered to and manage the flow of guests onto the pool deck.· Perform light cleaning of pool deck and regular sanitizing of touch points.· Provide towels, robes and other sundries to guests where required.· Provide personalized service in a professional manner.· Answer inquiries regarding hotel and resort services· Work professionally with various departments ensuring clear communication.· Assist the Concierge department with various tasks where required.· Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and a professional appearance.Qualifications· Previous guest experience· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities· Knowledge of Okanagan and local area an asset· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment· Ability to work cohesively as part of a teamJob Types: Full-time, TemporarySalary: From $16.00 per hourAdditional pay:
