We are dedicated to your success.Job DescriptionADGA is looking to hire a Senior System Architect to provide technical advice for CBRN (Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) tools/systems and advise on CBRN system technologies at a level of expertise sufficient to guide strategy.Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Liaise with architects and designers to align CBRN engineering development with HQDamp; MD requirements. Advise and guide CBRN Software problem reports, Observations, and Enhancements.
  • CBRN tools evolution: Advise on system problem reports, enhancements, and associated designs to be considered as part of next baseline and the overall roadmap; advise on work priority to ensure system stability and robustness are maintained and high value enhancements are implemented; and participate and advise in technical investigation for improving the CBRN product.
  • Support to CBRN tool suite Operational Releases: advise and assist on regression qualification activities; participate in qualification testing activities; advise and assist on obtaining FCA/PCA of the latest CBRN CI releases; and assist in monitoring progress and system integration.
  • Conduct IV amp;V (Independent validation and verification) of all technical deliverables from OEM including but not limited to: Specifications, Design Documents, Interface Control Documents, Problem Reports, test plan, test procedures and test reports.
  • Review Change Request and associated systems engineering activities and provide advice on impact and technical feasibility; participate in Steering Committee, Architecture Working Groups, and planning sessions;
  • Assist in integration testing at the HQamp; Mobile Domain system level;
  • Assist in the process of closing the CBRN Tools CI production line and making the full transition into an In Service Support (ISS) concept.
  • Provide advice on CBRN Tool Repair and Overhaul (R amp;O) and provide guidance and advice for field transition to the new CBRN tool baseline capability.
  • Provide the PMO Staff with support and advice on CBRN tools capability planning, fielding, training, maintenance, software/hardware evolution and Project Management.
Job Requirements:Qualifications
  • Must have 10+ years of progressive experience working as a Systems Architect working on similar tasks as listed in the job description.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working within CBRN (or similar e.g. HazMat) environment/systems.
  • Must have experience as a Systems Architect working on highly complex systems with multiple stakeholders.
  • Military experience will be considered a strong asset
  • Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain a Federal Government Secret (Level II) clearance and other clearances as required.
