Job Description

Distribution warehouse in the County of Brant (Paris) is currently looking for motivated, self-starters who take pride in their work for the position of warehouse associates to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse associates responsibilities include storing materials, picking & packing and light product assembly. We offer permanent full time employment, benefits, and the opportunity to work for a family owned company with strong core values.Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Adhere to company safety policies and safety compliance regulations
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Report any inventory discrepancies
  • Communicate and co-operate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Requirements
  • Proven working experience as a warehouse worker (asset, but not required. We will train as necessary)
  • Experience with inventory software, databases and systems (asset, but not required. We will train as necessary)
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods (asset, but not required. We will train as necessary)
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Current forklift license (asset, but not required. We will train as necessary)
  • High school degree or equivalent
