About UsFounded in 1971, and located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Jones Food Store Equipment, has been the Hussmann distributor for British Columbia for almost 50 years.Jones sells new and refurbished refrigeration equipment and provides installation and maintenance services for both refrigeration and HVAC. Jones also provides system/store design. Our clients include the major brand name and independent supermarket operators of BC.Our OpportunityAs the successful candidate you will be assisting the Service Manager by providing logistical, and administrative support to our Vancouver Island Service department. This position requires multi-tasking and the ability to do a wide variety of different tasks. Some of these tasks are listed below:Primary Responsibilities: · Ordering parts from suppliers, and following up on existing orders and credits;· Coordinating deliveries;· Organizing travel for out-of-town work;· Contacting clients to schedule work, updating technicians on job status, and dispatch;· Consolidating reports, updating maintenance spreadsheets;· Coordination of vehicle service, tire changes, repairs, etc.· Quotes, managing limited inventories, and counting stock.· Completing other duties that arise as needed.Requirements: · Detail Oriented· Excellent Organization skills· Background in dealing with parts and/or inventory preferred· Good Computer skills· Should be familiar and fluent with Microsoft office· Industry related experience beneficial· High School DiplomaJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $22.00-$26.00 per hourBenefits:
