Under the direction of the Administrator/General Manager, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the day to day general office administration operations. In addition, this position will provide frontline reception and will be the key liaise with service providers, clients, and customers.Ideal Candidate Traits & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ office experience
  • Post Secondary Diploma in related field an asset
  • Strong computer skills with a demonstrated ability to use a variety of software programs.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient at balancing multiple tasks and setting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate accurately with high attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
  • Customer Service experience an asset
  • Experience working with seniors an asset
  • Act as the first point of contact for the organization with regard to telephone and in-person inquiries from residents, family members, community partners and other parties
  • Assists in the biweekly preparation and processing of payroll and maintain the Accounts Receivable system
  • Assists in maintaining resident trust accounts, administrator’s account and petty cash
  • Process Resident Billing on a monthly basis including electronically send and post the pre-authorized payment to General Bank
