Job Description

Job purposeManage incoming deliveries to warehouse by verifying and signing for shipment, unloading, inspecting and storing the received items. Maintain levels of raw materials to on the shop floor to meet production demands.Duties and responsibilities· Follow and enforce all Health & Safety rules and protocols· Maintain IFM’s standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in accordance with policies and procedures· Follow IFM’s Code of Conduct· Follow Standard Operating Procedures provided for equipment operation and work processes· Maintain warehouse in a neat, tidy and organized fashion to optimize space utilizationo Organize warehouse with management team input, to deal with fluctuations in volume and demand for materialso Look for ways of improving storage and handling efficiencies· Complete Cycle Counts (raw materials, consumables, etc.) at predetermined intervals and maintain accurate data within the inventory software system· Offload and inspect all inbound materials to ensure they meet specifications· Complete Purchase Order Receipts process (accurately record and verify inbound shipment quantities). Record shortages, rejected or damaged items· Operate forklift to move materials into and out of the warehouse· Maintain appropriate levels of consumables and raw materials in production areao Monitor demand for materials needed in production. Pick, stage and retrieve stock to meet those demands· Return unused materials from production areas to designated warehouse locations· Assist and provide back-up for Shipping Department· Adopt and apply 6S lean principles and methods to work areas and processesQualifications

  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent people skills including the ability to work effectively with team members
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability and willingness to be hands-on
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of standard warehouse practices and procedures
  • Forklift and hand cart operation experience
Working conditions
  • Face-paced environment and pressure associated with meeting demands and deadlines
  • Steel-toes shoes are mandatory
Physical requirements
  • Required to physically lift up to 75 pounds
  • Frequent periods of bending, standing, stooping
  • Prolonged standing and walking, including frequent stair climbing
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $17.00-$18.00 per hourBenefits:
