Find your future with us.Boeing Canada Operations is seeking a Ground Support Analyst to support the Canadian Chinook Medium-to-Heavy Lift Helicopter Program (MHLH) reporting to the MHLH Engineering Manager working out of the Petawawa, Ontario office.The Ground Support Analyst will provide oversight of the GSE Contractor for In-Service Support of MHLH Operations. In addition, this role will encompass engineering analysis with respect to the evaluation and development of dispositions for structural repairs to aircraft.Position Responsibilities:

  • Defines tool requirements for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and reviews basic engineering changes to support customer maintenance operations.
  • Perform support and coordination for deployment of GSE.
  • Develops customized reports and tool specification sheets. Acts as a support focal in providing oversight of the Third Party GSE contractor, and to provide technical support to customers.
  • Consults with customer on GSE tools, training and facilities requirements.
  • Provides data to support technical customer advocates. Attends service related problem and industry meetings.
  • Perform the support and Test Equipment management role (70%) and provide engineering analyst support (30%) to Contractor Field Operations at the MHLH Operational Squadron in Petawawa, Ontario, Canada.
  • Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and recommends interim and final solutions to engineering for review and approval.
  • Analyzes damage repair or structural modification and drafts repair template for engineering review to determine appropriate structural repairs/maintenance actions.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Boeing reserves the right to change the telecommunicating option at any time.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5 + years of Ground Support Equipment experience
  • 5 + years of Aircraft Maintenance/Aircraft Structural Repair experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to legally work in Canada
  • Candidate must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • GSE Life Cycle Management
  • Post-Secondary education
  • Active Secret II Clearance
  • Knowledge/Experience in developing Aircraft Structural Repair/Maintenance Instructions
