Job Description

Theres no formula for how to think here at Vortex, we encourage you to bring your own perspectives, personality and ideas to your work, no matter your role!The Technical Drafter is responsible for creating the technical drawings related to sales proposals in accordance with company standards.Responsibilities

  • Plan views
  • Using the 3D drawing, create a drawing in Autocad showing the water effects (spray zones)
  • Perform calculations of water flow for each component
  • Electrical and piping schematics
  • Import Autocad drawing model and modify it to meet specifications
  • Identify areas to house water management system and add it to the map
  • Confirm the feasibility of the installation of the chosen system
  • Determine the dimensions of the pipe and the associated water flow
  • Connect the piping to the components
  • Product Specifications and Installation Drawings
  • Analyse the existing models by searching in documentation archives
  • Find all the information necessary for product design from the internal sales departments, engineering and design
  • Create product specifications and installation drawings
  • Archive documentation in the corresponding directory
  • Perform the following additional tasks
  • Participate in special projects for continuous improvement
  • Perform other related duties as required
