WHO WE AREScova Farms Ltd. is a technologicallly advanced family owned and operated Dairy Farm located in Ponoka (central Alberta). We proudly milk over 850 head three time per day. Our facilities and equipement are state of the art and updated consistently.WHAT THE JOB ISIn an independent atmosphere, we are seeking a self starter with a positive and willing to learn attitude to join our dairy team. We are willing to train the right candidate and encourage development of skills for successful environment and operations on the dairy farm.The dairy farm person is a full time position and includes primarily milking and operating equipment for the feeding/bedding, maintenance of our livestock.There is a minimal outdorr work required but occasionlly having the ability to work out-of-doors, year round, in all types of weather when required.Performs general farm duties as assigned by Dairy Farm manager.Provides general care to livestock by feeding, and assist with general herd health duties.Safely operates various types of farm equipment and light vehicles.
