Job Description

Evolution Catering is now hiring new team members for the upcoming golf season. You will assist with the opening of The Peppered Elk Restaurant, on-course concession food, as well as event catering services.An excellent opportunity to join a GROWING brand in the Ponoka area. Job Duties:
  • Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
  • Complete in a timely manner all tasks delegated from the Executive Chef.
  • Work in a fast, safe, and efficient manner especially during service times so as to achieve consistently high food quality in a productive and cost effective environment.
  • Comply with kitchen manuals, recipe and prep sheets, daily work sheets, kitchen procedures, cleaning schedules
  • Maintain efficient stock controlling methods for all kitchen-related products, specifically towards maintaining shelf life (especially with perishable items), stock rotating to avoid wastage and spoilage.
  • Maintain all food items at the approved temperature, to prevent contamination or health risks.
  • Complete waste sheets, staff meal sheet and requisition sheets as required.
  • Attend and proactively contribute to weekly kitchen meetings.
  • Communicate professionally and directly with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage team on all food service issues, and liaise daily on all function requirements.
  • Take pride in your work, work area, and your position at all times.
  • It is imperative that you conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times and represent yourself, kitchen team, and Club in the highest degree.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience in food & beverage operations.
  • Dedicated to an extremely high level and standard of food quality and consistency.
  • Highly creative and motivated
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and team leadership skills.
