We are a busy renovations company out of Port Perry looking to hire a new labourer to help us keep on schedule. This would ideally be a full-time position however that will be determined by experience and full-time hours cannot be guaranteed at first if you do not have any construction experience. We are open to teaching and developing your skills if you are looking to make a long-term commitment.We do everything there is to do with renovations- demolition, framing, drywall/taping, plumbing, carpentry, painting, tile setting, etc. The biggest component of our work is the detail finishing (tile and carpentry).Requirements:-Post-secondary education in a skilled trades program related to what we do is helpful but definitely is not mandatory.-Valid drivers license and transportation to/from work.-Must have own basic tools at minimum (belt, hand tools, etc), steel toe boots-Referrals from previous employer(s)We work all over Durham and York with most of our work being in the Markham/Stouffville/Uxbridge area. Occasionally we travel further either in the city or up north.
