Job Description

Aramark is proud to be working with the World Police and Fire Games to supply food and beverage for this iconic event! We are looking for Hospitality Service Workers which includes, Food Service Workers including cooks to work our BBQ stations, Beverage Service Workers (must be 18+) and Cashiers. The term for this assignment is from July 26, 2023, to August 6, 2023.Wage: All positions are $18.00 per hourShifts: Shifts will range from 5 - 8 hours, both day and evening shifts available.Job ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions - Food Service

  • Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
  • Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
  • Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations
  • Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers #39; needs
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
Essential Functions - Cashier
  • Operates and manages cashless transactions through use of a debit/credit terminal
  • Greet and assists customers while anticipating their needs
  • Count, organize, and keep track of transactions.
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude
Essential Functions - Bartender
  • Greets customers and takes orders
  • Serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons #39;
identification
  • Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
  • Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
  • Provides excellent customer service, anticipating guests needs
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude
Qualifications
  • Previous food/beverage service experience preferred
  • Manitoba Smart Choices certification would be an asset
  • Food safety certification an asset
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs
