Your field experience is combined with leadership training and increased responsibility in project planning, coordination, and other functional areas.FLINT specializes in Maintenance Turnaround, Project Work, Construction, Welding Fabrication and Facility Pipeline Construction.This is an exciting role for new grads or junior candidates. You will bring a post-secondary degree/diploma related to Business, Engineering or trades.What would you be doing

  • This entry-level leadership development program is designed to prepare suitable candidates for supervisory and future management positions with FLINT.
  • For the first few months, this program will involvequot;hands-on quot; work in the field, which is physically demanding and labour-intensive. You will be exposed to Fabrication, Maintenance, Construction and Turnarounds. This is intended to provide direct experience and allow for an expedited learning curve on the fundamentals of the business.
  • after that, the successful candidate will be exposed to functional and project management responsibilities.
  • While the majority of the program may take place in a construction environment, there is an expectation that the candidate be prepared to travel to different sites. It will/may require working extended hours on projects located away from a home base (Camp or LOA environment).
  • The program is typically two to three years in duration, depending on the Trainee #39;s previous experience and accomplishments during the program. Candidates completing the Management Trainee Program will have the opportunity to pursue a career in a variety of roles in either Project Services roles or Functional positions.
  • In order to offer the broadest range of experience, you must also be prepared to be transferred to multiple FLINT divisions throughout their tenure.
