We combine our deep technical knowledge with an understanding of clients #39; sectors to provide tailored solutions to their ongoing challenges and business changes.The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee Accounting Advisory assignments following ASPE, IFRS, and PSAB.
• Help clients analyze and apply accounting standards to transactions, including crafting accounting memos and reviewing technical position papers.
• Manage a team and provide coaching and guidance on technical matters.
• Play a role in managing the Accounting Advisory team #39;s daily operations.
• Support engagement teams in meeting clients #39; needs and business requirements.
• Stay updated on evolving financial reporting standards, securities, regulatory requirements, and emerging business issues.
• Cultivate collaborative relationships with partners and other BDO service lines to ensure seamless client service.
• Maintain a strong understanding of risk management policies.

Your experience and education

• You have at least 5 years of audit experience, including 2 years in a management role within the public accounting industry.
• You hold a CPA designation.
• You are skilled in writing memos and effectively communicating analysis and conclusions.
• You possess expertise in ASPE, IFRS, and PSAB standards.
• You are enthusiastic about continuous learning, personal growth, and coaching with kindness.
• Your time management and organizational skills are effective in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• You have demonstrated strong teamwork and leadership abilities, enabling effective collaboration.
