Our national HI group is comprised of engineers, technicians and support personnel with their diverse backgrounds in design and construction, committed to delivering excellent technical work and customer service to our clients. This national team has earned an exceptional reputation through its successful delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects in Canada.Responsibilities:

  • Structural analysis and design related to bridges and other transportation infrastructure in accordance with established codes, standards, drawings and other specifications
  • Condition evaluation of existing structures
  • As a team member, carry out bridge and culvert inspections and report preparation
  • As a team member, assist with bridge condition surveys
  • As a team member, perform field review and inspection for construction
  • Use of structural design tools such as SAP2000, CSI Bridge, SFrame, Midas Civil, AutoCAD
  • Expanding responsibilities will be assigned upon demonstrated competence from the successful candidate
  • Prepare/assist in preparing engineering plans, documents, schedules or reports, as assigned
  • Prepare construction cost and life cycle cost estimates
  • Additional duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Civil or Structural Engineering graduate eligible for registration as an EIT or P.Eng.
  • Working both in office and field environment
  • Valid driver #39;s license and access to a vehicle
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Midas Civil, SAP2000 / SFrame / AutoCAD and similar software is a definite asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
