We are looking for passionate people like you to join us in our mission to “Offer the Best of Nature”!Job DescriptionPackaging Building Operator will be responsible for the day to day activity of the flow of both the packaging area and consumables warehouse, including completion and control / processing all paperwork (documents) / or WMS software transactions related to receiving of inbound raw (consumables) material and outbound order processing – bills of lading, commercial invoices, and or product transfer documents to customers or 3PL, and could include quality ISO documents, certificates, customs/broker documentation, audits etc. In addition, the role will be charged with materials in process, inventory allocation and storage, and outbound finished goods. Participation in inventory validation and audit as well as quality control activities and relevant updates to the WMS.Operate all material handling & Forklift equipment safely and efficiently as required.Maintains equipment safety check logs and maintenance log book(s), as well as basic PMs as required.Responsible to apply the quality instruction, SOP, Logigram and work instructionResponsible to operate packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner, monitoring including: automatized process, laboratory control, manual task, maintenance task, workshop cleaning.Respect and apply all the food safety and quality instructions (hygiene, GMP, HACCP)Conduct the diagnosis following process incidents, ensure the proper functioning of the equipment that the operator is responsible for, especially during operation. Report any anomalies to Packaging Supervisor.Responsible for in-process sampling, analysis and transferring QC samples to the main lab.Responsible for recording of manufacturing information (production declaration, initiate process order, WMS/ERP functions) in digital tools or paper report.Participates in all audits for inventory control, quality, ISO, etc. Participates in corrective actions as required.Performs incidental maintenance activities as required, and reports issues as necessary.Reports usage and consumption / stock levels and or issues to management for consumable order process.Reports all incidents. Detect operational risk and prevent hazardous situations, participate in root-cause analysis.Works with maintenance, production, or process/production employees and contractors to complete equipment repairs and modifications or CIP / hygiene processes / duties.Maintains a clean work environment and reports any deviation or issues immediately.Write, check or update SOPs as required.Good communication skillsGood team playerAttention to detailOrganizedAble to multi-taskCompetent in MS Office (MS Word, Excel),Proficient with digital tools in WMS / ERP system(s)Root-cause analysis knowledgeData interpretationPerform autonomous maintenancePerform analytical testsExperience in food industry, food safety & GMP knowledgeEducation: Minimum of a High school diploma / GEDExperience: Minimum 3 years working experience in, manufacturing, warehouse logistics, distribution, freight forwarding. Preference given for experience in Food / Feed processing - cold storage and or beverage distribution.Specific requirements: Able to repeatedly lift weights up to 55 lbs. and can ascend and descend stairs up to 9 stories. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Able to work in hot and humid environments in the summer, cold in the winter, and works outside in all seasons safely – adhering to HSE and PPE requirements / procedures and policy.
