The Training Supervisor serves as a coach and mentor to the Training Department.This position will work collaboratively with site leadership to determine training needs that drive manufacturing excellence in alignment with the overall sitestrategy. The supervisor will utilize, develop, and implement training programs, which will include technical training, safety/food safety training, train-the-trainerprograms, and process management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Performs skills assessments, analyzes learning needs, and develops training materials/ programs designed to meet those needsDevelop and implement training standards and measures (key performance indicators) that support the vision of self-sufficient teams in support of sitestrategyEnsures training materials are current and updatedTracks the success of training materials and programs, and makes improvementsDocuments employee attendance or performance at mandatory training sessionsDelivers training programs to target audience within the local manufacturing plantFoster the development of internal subject matter experts through Train-the-Trainer program to leverage internal training resources and promoteknowledge transfer within the organizationProvide primary support for new technologies as they become available, coordinating and preparing training schedules to accommodate facility needsControl training expenses and manage expenditures to meet the training needsProvide guidance and indirect supervision to site or department training leadersSupervise & direct Training Facilitator activitiesCoach and develop Training Facilitators and others responsible for the delivery of training within the operationAdministrative functions of a supervisory role, such as time keeping, vacation planning, taking call-insDevelopment, training and ensuring associate completion of required trainings (e-learnings and other core and additional trainings)Ensure the implementation and effectiveness of an onboarding and early development program for new employeesQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
