Job Description

The CompanyMeridian 125 W Cultivation Ltd. is a Health Canada licensed cannabis cultivator based on BCs Sunshine Coast, dedicated to growing top quality cannabis. Our facility holds a standard cultivation license from Health Canada and is equipped with a cutting edge, fully proprietary automation system which allows our staff to spend less time focused on monotonous tasks and more time focused on the health of our plants and the quality of our cannabis. We are now looking for a responsible Administrative Officer to join our team. The working location is at 6270 Yew Street Powell River, British Columbia.Duties of the Administrative Officer include: Supervise and coordinate office administrative processes, including the assessment and implementation of new procedures. Prioritize tasks and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed. Administer polices and procedures pertaining to record release while processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation. Plan and oversee office services, including accommodation, equipment, supplies, forms, asset disposal, parking, maintenance, and security. Oversee administrative operations tied to budgeting, contracting, and project planning and client management. Assist in the creation of the operating budget and maintain control over inventory and budgetary matters. Compile data and produce analysis reports, manuals, and correspondence. Support accounting month end/year end-matching/tax remittances. Help with cheque/direct deposit runs and timesheets. Support the preparation of financial reports and budgets.Requirements for the role: Minimum completion of secondary school is required. Experience in a senior clerical or executive secretarial position related to office administration or completion of a college program in business administration or other related field is required.
