  • to offer psychosocial, rehabilitation and social integration services;
  • Provide children and their families with services in matters of child placement, adoption, biological history research, reunion, expertise in the Superior Court and family mediation.
  • Services are offered mainly under the Youth Protection Act, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and the Act respecting health and social services in the placement of children.
What does the intervention agent do in a youth center
  • Person who, in a rehabilitation environment for young people with adjustment difficulties, provides support, supervision, accompaniment and animation to young people referred to him.
  • She welcomes young people from all intervention services and assumes them in times of crisis, disorganization or in need of special help.
  • In addition, it may be called upon to assume, in terms of support to interveners, presences in the various services, when the situation requires it.
  • It meets certain needs of young people according to the rehabilitation objectives pursued.
  • It even intervenes physically when the situation requires it and searches users when requested.
  • She observes the behavior of the young person and reports his observations by way of significant reports to the continuation of the treatment of the young person. She performs security rounds at the facility.

Requirements :Must have a Secondary V Diploma and have a 4B driver’s license.Must have some experience with youth.Experience related to security is an asset.Willing to participate in physical interventions.Must be able to speak French and English and write either French or English.Candidates might be interviewed and have to pass a physical test.Comments :We thank all applicants.
