Helpdesk / Computer Support Technician Prince Albert Grand Council IT Services Department The Prince Albert Grand Council is currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual to play an integral role as a member of our Information Technology Team. The Technician is responsible for supporting all PAGC Departments and communities. Support includes installation and maintenance of workstations, Server administration and network infrastructure maintenance. QualificationsDegree/Diploma in Systems and Network Administration, Computer Science or Related discipline. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft MCP a plus. Preference is given to individuals with 1+ years of computer support experience, including installations, maintenance, managing and troubleshooting. Strong troubleshooting skills: the ability to isolate problem causes through logic, research and the process of elimination, then implement an acceptable solution without assistance. Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 11) and Business Applications (Office 365). Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and to work independently, when required. Good Knowledge of current information technology directions, as well as a strong vision of future trends. Vehicle and valid driver’s license: Extensive Travel required to various PAGC departments in Prince Albert as well as PAGC First Nations Communities.
