Job Description Under the direction of the Primary Health Care Manager - Therapies and supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist - Senior, the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing speech/language programs for preschool children and/or adults within the assigned service area. Job Qualifications Required QualificationsMasters Degree in Speech Language PathologyRegistered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)Valid Class 5 driver #39;s licenseExperiencePreference will be given to candidates with experience in feeding and swallowing with pediatric and adult acute care populations.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary teamAbility to work independently to plan and organize work load demandsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInterpersonal skillsLeadership skillsOrganizational skillsPositive approach and good listening skills to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity Additional Information Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purpose only and may be subject to change.
