Enjoy unique experiences, close connections with communities, and a strong focus on professional development opportunities, as well as the natural wonders of the northern BC while you work.The Opportunity: The Primary Care Assistant provides a vital role in supporting Primary Care, Nursing and Home Care Program over multiple sites. In addition to significant clerical and administrative functions, ensuring proper stocking of medical supplies, accessing and inputting confidential medical information into the CFSS Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is a cornerstone of this position.

  • Maintain/update Primary Care and Home and Community Care records
  • Participate in Integrated Care Team meetings as needed
  • Schedule patient appointments and assist primary care and professional staff in managing client activity

  • Medical Office Assistant certificate or
  • Office administration certificate, plus two years’ experience in a medical office; or
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Class 5 Driver’s License
