Enjoy unique experiences, close connections with communities, and a strong focus on professional development opportunities, as well as the natural wonders of the northern BC while you work.The Opportunity: The Communications Specialist works with the communications team, jurisdiction teams and other CSFS staff and leaders to implement the CSFS communications strategy and to create and implement project/program specific strategies.

  • Provide advice and action on communications strategies, including best practice in the areas of video planning, scripting, shooting, editing and publishing, social media management, graphics design, internal communications and other communications modalities.
  • Provide regular creative story idea ‘pitches’ for input and approval in order to contribute to change management practices
  • Develop and implement project plans related to fulfilling the jurisdiction framework in alignment with the organizational strategic vision and goals.

  • A skilled story teller with great interpersonal skills and a passion for creating and communicating
  • Five years of marketing and/or communications leadership experience or an equivalent role
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field
