CSFS is mandated to establish a comprehensive infrastructure for social, health and legal programs, for the eventual take-over of these services, consistent with the Tribal Councils objective of working towards Indian Self-Government. We deliver all services in accordance with our great law of sharing wealth set in our Bah’lats (potlatch) system. With the guidance of our elders we are committed to the healing and empowerment of First Nation families. In this role, you will get to:

  • Develop strong, cooperative relationships with internal and external partners, clients and colleagues to foster training enrollment, attendance and general relationships based on knowledge sharing
  • Planning and scheduling of open and special interest group training sessions
  • Design event and information posters, social media posts and other printed and online marketing materials
What You Will Bring to The Role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Teaching, Health Services or related field preferred
  • A diploma, certificate or training in Teaching, Facilitation, Life Coaching, Human Services or related field
  • Two years of experience in conducting group facilitations, teaching, training and presentations
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered
The Location: Prince George sits on the traditional lands of the Lheidli Tenneh First Nation, whose name means "people where the rivers come together" in the Carrier language.
