Job Description

DescriptionHuber Equipment - Prince George, is looking for a Full Time Technician - Red Seal. We service and sell a wide range of agriculture and construction equipment and are a family owned company with values that reflect this. We have served the Prince George, Smithers and surrounding areas loyally for over 40 years. We would like to add to our already high performing team and family to help serve our customers even better. We offer competitive wage along with benefits. We offer day shifts only…no shift work. You will be home more often and get to spend more time with family. You will work on a wide variety of equipment on a daily basis…not the same thing day after day. References are required.Duties

  • basic and complex diagnostics
  • service repairs (on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment)
  • maintenance work (on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment)
  • reliable and willing to help out where needed
Qualifications
  • Red Seal Heavy Duty or Automotive Technician. $36 – $45 per hour depending on certification and experience.We would consider a 3rd or 4th year apprentice.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and construction equipment
  • Ability to use diagnostic software and basic computer functions
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
