  • Comments: Position is for six (6) monthsPosition SummaryThis posting is covered by the Provincial Health Officer’s mandatory COVID-19 vaccination orders and selected applicant(s) must comply.In accordance with Northern Health’s vision and values, the HR Assistant supports the delivery of humanresource services to managers, employees, and other Northern Health staff by providing general information onhuman resources policies/procedures and collective agreement provisions, initiating and maintainingcomputerized databases, and providing administrative support to the HR Operations department, includingcomposing and completing human resources and labour relations related documentation.QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • Diploma in Human Resource Management and three (3) years recent, related experience;
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to type at 50 wpm.
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of team.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to operate related equipment including computer software applications.
