As the Maintenance Labourer with BBRD you will get the opportunity to use your troubleshooting skills on a daily basis. Everything from delivering bins, to repairing and maintaining front load and roll off bins, including painting, decaling, etc. You will also help out with some basic repairs on trucks and equipment.Duties include: 1. Delivering bins to new customers and swapping bins for repairs. Will be required to travel between Prince George and Smithers from time to time during the summer months in order to deliver and repair bins. Some overnights may be required with hotel and living out expense provided.2. Minor bin repairs include removing graffiti, or swapping bins and refurbishing marked or rusty bins. Replacing locks/keys to customers. Preparing for paint and painting. Putting new decals on bins. Adding lock bars either by bolting or welding. Removing or swapping out castors.3. Roll Off bin repairs include painting, some cutting, grinding, welding.4. Assist with some mechanical repairs on our equipment including front load and roll off trucks, as well as hiab flat deck and forklift/skid steer.5. All other general labour duties as assignedSkills Required: Ability to lift at least 50lbs. on a regular basisClass 5 Driver License.
