We value fostering and sustaining an environment of diversity and inclusion where everyone can reach their full potential.WHAT YOU WILL DOAs an integral part of the forest development planning team, the Project Forester will be responsible for providing expertise within project teams, spanning small cutting permit-based projects to large integrated multi-phase development or woodlands management programs. Typical duties include providing leadership in the implementation of appraisal, stewardship and silviculture services.The Project Forester will support the completion of cruise compilations and interior timber appraisals and will manage and ensure compliance and consistency with stewardship requirements for forest development in B.C. as driven by FRPA and relevant Forest Stewardship Plans. This may include the coordination of assessments, creation of Site Plans, and completion of required referrals.WHAT YOU’LL NEED
