Job Description

Pentalift Equipment Corporation is one of North America’s largest manufacturers of loading dock equipment and industrial lift tables.We are currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team of professionals. Our successful candidate will bring with them experience working within a manufacturing setting coupled with strong communication and customer service skills. This role is responsible for accepting dealer, contractor and end-user calls and providing information and making recommendations about our products.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to inbound calls from dealers, contractors, and/or end-users in a timely and professional manner
  • Inform customers about our products by providing product literature, specifications, technical drawings, products, pricing information etc. as required
  • Recommend solutions for customers applications
  • Suggest additional products to further promote Pentalift products for the customers requirements
  • Provide information to Estimating and/or Engineering to facilitate quotation process on customized special orders
  • Determine date of delivery required by customers and communicate this information to Manufacturing in an effective manner
  • Ensure completion of all documentation and other requirements such as credit, approval drawings, concept drawings, confirmation drawings, contract documentation, sub-contract documentation, etc.to process the order
  • Update information in various databases to process and track orders
  • Track orders and follow up with Plant and Customers as required
  • Prepare expedites, order status, order delays, change order requests and other required documentation during the order process
Qualifications:
  • Ideally 1-3 years of experience working in an inside sales or similar role within a manufacturing setting
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Possess a positive attitude and work well in a team oriented environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Office, Word, Access)
  • Knowledge of Industrial equipment and an aptitude for understanding technical information would be considered an asset
