Job DescriptionPOSITION: Production Operator – March to September 4, 2022COMPANY: BlueTriton BrandsDEPARTMENT: ProductionLOCATION: Guelph, ONHourly Rate:$24.09/hourHealth & Dental Package available after 45 days$1.25/hr night shift premiumPaid meal breaks$1,000.00 Completion BonusRotating 12 hour continental shift schedule; 4 on 4 off; monthly rotation from days to nights5:50 am – 6:05pm, 5:50pm – 6:05amPosition SummaryAll aspects of Line running and shipping, to include all Data pass usage and all aspects of Inventory control. Basic troubleshooting and problem solving in regards to Line running / shipping/ data pass and inventory control.Support shipping when needed.Major ResponsibilitiesSafe performance of assigned tasksProactive approach to safety and identifying potential hazardsFollow all warehouse/ production process to ensure complianceVerify inventory while shipping/ racking using VisitrackInfinity testing/ quality reportingPerform pre-shift on forklifts before start of shift.Maintain a clean and organized work areaLoad trailers based on established load patterns.Load / ship only quality product.Report any un-safe act or observationAttach identifying tags or labels, as requiredReport damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposesProduction palletizer operation and changeoversCompletion of palletizer/ wrapper PM’s as trainedManage relationships with peers and team-members to ensure achievements of department goals.Understand all department KPI’s and strive to improve outputOther duties as assigned QualificationsSecondary school diplomaMinimum age requirement – 18 yearsExperience in Food Processing or Manufacturing environment would be considered an assetDemonstrates adherence to factory standards, policies and proceduresDemonstrated written, verbal and administrative organizational skillsExperience in operating a palletizer and perform machine troubleshooting preferredSafety mindsetForklift Certified; double-wide counterbalance considered an assetBlueTriton Brands’ position in the Canadian bottled water market is unmatched.
