Job DescriptionThe webdeveloper will be responsible for the development of portals, services and tools. You will also work on setting up database and monitoring solutions. The incumbent will be addressing critical issues on some of our biggest game titles, which have million users across the globe. You must be able to design robust, efficient, secure and scalable architecture and work with the team to put it into reality with coherent, organized code. With your creativity and your desire to take on new challenges in the entertainment industry you will work in teams to design, develop, validate and support innovative technological solutions for developing and optimizing mega games and multisite AAA games productions. Ideal candidates will have solid experience developing web applications utilizing Web 2.0 technologies. Scaling experience is a huge plus. You will be joining a team that is committed to working on high quality code in multiple technology environment.Be part of Ubisoft’s Cloud Gaming team, defining the future of gaming. Qualifications: - 3 years of experiencein web development in Node.js, Ruby, Java or others - Web backend experience (proxy, web servers, etc.) - Web frontend experience (javascript, css, etc.) - Database experience (SQL, NoSQL, NewSQL, etc.) - Good design skills of scalable and fault-tolerant systems - Linux experience Desired skills: - Public Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCE, etc.) - Knowledge of HTML5 (websockets, webgl, etc.) - Knowledge of configuration tools (Puppet, Chef, etc.)
