Gone are the days of status quo as they build out a workforce of leaders who can take Servus to the next level - if this sounds like you, then we #39;d love to chat!Servus Credit Union is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager at the Servus Branch in Deer Park, Red Deer, Alberta.Reporting to the Branch Manager, your primary goal is to empower, support, and develop your team of Financial Advisors. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you have a passion for leading people and can help your Financial Advisors understand their member #39;s needs, therefore driving performance and success for the branch. You are an expert in the sales process and delivering progressive lending and investment services to their members.Job Requirements:The scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Motivating and coaching employees to find opportunities to shape members financial fitness
  • Being proactive in pursuing new business opportunities
  • Monitoring and ensuring financial targets are being met or exceeded for the branch
  • Promoting referrals to their Wealth Management, Business Banking, and 3rd party providers
  • Adhering to policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines to mitigate risk of loss
  • Providing support, guidance, and training to all employees as necessary to ensure performance improvement and cohesive teamwork
  • Preparing accurate and complete documentation, processing account changes, and handling member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
RequirementsTo qualify, you will need at least 5 years of retail banking experience, including experience as a Financial Advisor and a solid understanding of lending and credit principles.Although not required, the following education/certificates are valuable assets:
  • Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
  • Investment Funds in Canada Courseamp; License (IFIC)
  • Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA)
  • Financial Planning I (FP1)
