Reece Custom is looking for a Damned Good Purchaser!What can you bring to the table These are the things that we are looking for:Look at our website, we manufacture pressure retaining equipment for the process industries, including the Oil and Gas industry, do you know this equipment and the sources available to us here in Western CanadaWe purchase semi-elliptical heads, rolled shells, rolled repad, level controllers, pressure switches, gauges, and a whole assortment of ball, gate, plug, control, proportional, and instrument valves, ESDVs, just to name a few. Regulators, valve positioners, insulation, building packages for skid mount packages, internal and external paint applicators, pig catchers, pig launchers, centrifugal, injection, progressive cavity pumps.How about Raised Face Long Weld Neck Forgings, heavy barrels, manways, elliptical manways, Raised Face Weld Neck Flanges, standard and low temperature rated pipe, special chemistry and specific country of origin fittings complete with MTRs.Welding consumables, metal core wire, sub-arc wire, Mig wire, neutral flux, flapper disks, angle grinders, high visibility chalk for chalk lines, annular cutters, welding machines, mag drills . . . and the list goes on.You can work in an ERP environment, can understand and are well experienced with the MS Office suite of products. You can work on your own and are equally comfortable working and managing a team of support staff. You understand quality control in this industry and how purchasing is an integral part of making our products compliant with code.Can have items at our plant to meet deadlines and find alternate suppliers whose products adhere to the requirements of the most important people in our lives, our customers.You are a strong negotiator, highly motivated, and have a managerial skill set that has matured over your career to-date. You can work with a team of very busy people that will have high expectations of your ability to do your job and perform, but will also do everything in their power to make sure you are supported.
