Job DescriptionAre you looking for an exciting full-time career, where development and high-performance are valued AbbVie Canada is looking to connect with a Therapeutic Specialist to join our commercial sales team. This role will be based in Vancouver, BC and will cover the city of Vancouver and Vancouver Island.Our Therapeutic Specialists develop and execute robust business plans in alignment with customer needs and brand strategy, deliver sales performance, and effectively build strong customer relationships and support customer needs to maximize short and long term sales performance, while placing the patient at the center of any efforts and operating within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations. Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives in order to meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Proactively and continuously support key stakeholders #39; needs, expectations and challenges, in order to build trusted relationships on a continual basis.
  • Execute a call plan that achieves set metrics and optimizes ‘share of voice’ with key customers, to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Create pre-call plans and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance. Effectively identify customer/patient needs, align with treatment paradigms, offer a valued treatment option, and close with a call to action for each customer call.
  • Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease states, products, and clinical expertise. Share this market intelligence with district manager and respective team members to improve alignment of brand strategy with field realities,
  • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with healthcare providers and identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
