Through file work and public/public sector education, the office works to ensure government accountability to the citizens it serves and to promote fairness in the delivery of public services. As Public Interest Disclosure Commissioner, operating under the Public Interest Disclosure Act, the Commissioner investigates disclosures of wrongdoings and complaints of reprisal from provincial public sector employees and helps to ensure the provincial government provides a workplace where wrongdoings can be safely raised and appropriately addressed.Ombudsman Saskatchewan and Public Interest Disclosure Commissioner is seeking a highly organized, energetic, confident, independent individual to provide administrative support in our Regina office.Our candidate of choice will be a flexible and positive individual who enjoys a fast-paced, challenging environment with diverse job expectations and able to perform with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have knowledge of a wide range of office administrative activities, such as: preparing correspondence, processing invoices, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, and processing travel expense statements.In this challenging and dynamic position, you will use teamwork skills to provide administrative support to the entire organization. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required as this position will respond to public inquiries both over the telephone and in person.
