We are currently looking for an Electrical Apprentice to help us with a solar installation project in Regina, Saskatchewan. Job Title: Electrical Apprentice. Job Summary: Reporting to the Foreman, the Apprentice Electrician will work with the supervision of a Journeyperson Electrician/Electrical Foreman and in conjunction to effectively support the electrical requirements of solar installations. Working in Regina, five (5) days a week for three (3) weeksScope of Responsibilities:Carry out duties in the Electrical Trade.Learn and troubleshoot electrical systems.Understand and comply with Tron policies, procedures and safety requirements, as well as the clients.Actively promote a safe work environment and ensure the health and safety of workers.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.Climb and perform work at various heights with the proper safety restraints.Assist Journeyperson Electricians with the daily routine.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Indentured as an Electrical ApprenticeValid Class 5 drivers license and clean driving record.Ability to pass Pre-access drug and alcohol test.The following safety certifications are required:o Leadership Safety Excellence o CSTS or SCOT o WHMIS 2015 o First Aid and CPR o Fall Protection This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.
