Job Description

Drive ticket sales and increase fan loyalty for the Saskatchewan Roughriders by leading the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of communication journeys across digital channels. This includes leveraging cross-channel marketing campaigns (email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and SMS) with the goal of acquiring new subscribers, driving revenue through ticket sales, and fostering deeper engagement and loyalty.   • Drive engagement and increase fan loyalty for the Saskatchewan Roughriders
  • Own the full lifecycle strategy from acquisition to retention, utilizing data-driven insights and tailored communication to drive revenue growth with a primary focus on ticket sales
  • Lead journey mapping, automation, and lifecycle strategies
  • Drive growth of mobile marketing channels, including push opted-in and SMS audiences, through targeted acquisition campaigns that boost subscriber opt-ins and maximize audience engagement.
  • Develop behavioural-based triggers, automations and customer journeys across multiple digital channels leveraging the integration between the enterprise marketing automation platform and Customer Data Platform
  • Leverage insights and campaign performance to inform future recommendations and initiatives
  • Maintain complex messaging calendars, journey maps and documentation to provide a centralized view and ensure accuracy as plans evolve
  • Develop campaign briefs and marketing plan proposals in line with strategic objectives and audiences
  • Partner with departments to understand requirements and goals and ensure alignment and coordination with other digital approaches toward key business strategies and objectives
  • Continuously research emerging trends and best practices in the data, lifecycle, and digital marketing spaces
  • Play a key role in process evolution and efficiency across the cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to other digital projects as needed
What You #39;ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field including Advertising, Business, Communications / PR, or Marketing
  • 3+ years of digital marketing or related work experience, including but not limited to content management and strategy, lead generation, digital activations, etc.
  • 3+ years of email marketing experience, preferably on a Marketing Automation platform
  • 3+ years of experience supporting multi-channel lifecycle marketing programs and initiatives; comfortable with audience segmentation, automation strategy, and marketing using digital channels (email, push notifications, SMS, in-app, website etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience using CRM, CDP, or other data management platforms to target audiences, leveraging customer personas, preferences, and interests to drive creation of personalized engagement strategies
  • Experience building behavioural triggers, automations, and journeys within a marketing automation platform
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and/or CSS preferred
  • Experience maintaining complex marketing calendars and customer journey maps; outlining project timelines, tasks and requirements for project management and documentation
  • Excellent organizational, time management and written/oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and intellectually curious, driven by a desire for continuous improvement
  • A team player with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and preform under pressure with meticulous attention to detail
  • Availability to work irregular hours and work schedules, including all home game days.
  • Occasional travel from time-to-time for professional development
