Job Description

The Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation is currently scouting for a creative, hard-working individual to join our team!The Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation’s mission is to empower youth and communities through the passion of Rider Nation, teaching them skills like leadership, resilience, and responsibility. We help build on the strengths of our youth ensuring they have the opportunity to reach their full potential, as well as empower them to achieve their goals. YOU are Rider Nation, and we want the growth of our team to not only foster our mission but reflect all the amazing talents Saskatchewan has to offer.Reporting to the Development Manager, this individual will be responsible for providing videography and digital media support for the Foundation. The successful candidate will need to have a mindset of innovation and creativity and be able to work collaboratively in a team atmosphere.Where will your talents be focused (Includes but is not limited to)· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute video, photo and digital media solutions.· Capture and edit video and photo content to support the Foundation announcements, campaigns, and projects.· Creating captivating graphics, stories and reports from the content that is captured to drive donations, engagement and support.· Logo, imagery, and graphics file management· Monitor, update, and further develop the Foundations social media pages and other channels as needed.· Measure marketing program effectiveness while understanding market trends· Proactively create, share, and collaborate with the Club’s Marketing Manager.· Miscellaneous duties as assigned.RequirementsWhat’s needed to be successful in this role· Completed post-secondary studies, specializing in a content/multi-media program· Proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and other computer applications is considered an asset· Experience working with WordPress or other CMS Platforms is considered an asset· Proven skill in juggling multiple priorities and attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities.· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)· Up to date with new technologies and practices· Excellent oral and written communication skills· Willing to push the limits on design trends to continually evolve the brand of the Foundation.· Promote a culture of trust, integrity and open communication while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to develop a positive team environment· Passion and drive reflective in all work· Flexibility to work irregular hours when needed, such as events or outside of core hours during peak periods.BenefitsWhat do we commit to you· Opportunity to contribute to the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation’s success and partner with the Saskatchewan Roughriders which is a cornerstone of our province and Rider Nation.· Opportunity to support countless community initiatives and programs that support children and youth of Saskatchewan.· Gain demonstrated immersive experience in a fast-paced organization and team.· Flexibility of time and work location dependent on workload and project timing.Wondering what to expect when working for the Saskatchewan Roughrider FoundationOur employees are empowered to make a difference not only in the community, but in our business operations as well.
