The Ministry of Education is seeking a dynamic, high performing, value driven and collaborative leader to provide strategic leadership and direction to the Information Management and Support (IMS) branch - Student and Educator Services unit.Reporting to the Executive Director of the Information Management and Support Branch and as an integral member of the branch leadership you will:provide leadership at the conceptual and operational level in the management of the registry of permanent student records in Saskatchewan (as part of a larger shared corporate data environment) for the issuance of high school transcripts, student tracking, the administration of provincial exams and informing policy decisions at the provincial, school division and school level;provide leadership at the conceptual and operational level for the process changes, service delivery to support Student Data System (SDS) and MySchoolSask/MonÉcoleSask (MSS/MÉS); provide ministry wide leadership in the implementation of regulatory requirements and ministry policy related to credit requirements for secondary completion;provide leadership and oversight with respect to policy development in the certification of teachers;partner with First Nations organizations to support student and teacher success; and,act as an expert resource to teachers, school administrators, Directors and Superintendents with respect to regulations and policy governing teacher accreditation, information security and recognition of schools by the ministry.Typically, the skills and abilities required for this position would be attained through graduate studies in Education, Administration or a related field.
