Research Officer - RES006721Employment Type : Permanent Full-timeLocation(s) : SK-Rgna-ReginaMinistry : 023 Energy and ResourcesSalary Range : $34.028 - $42.641 HourlyGrade : SGEU.10.The Ministry of Energy and Resources is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual for the position of Research Officer in the Mineral Policy Branch of the Resource Development Division. Reporting to the Senior Analysts, the successful candidate will conduct research, monitor and analyze data and provide recommendations to senior management on mineral related interests, programs and development. In addition, you will be responsible for the preparation of economic and revenue forecasts for minerals and for the compilation of statistical information collected by the branch. You will maintain and operate computer models related to these activities and participate in the development of royalty regulations, reports and studies associated with mineral production in Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be able to understand and clearly communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing. As a Research Officer you will apply your abilities by developing and implementing the knowledge and skills required for this position, which would typically be demonstrated by the completion of a bachelor #39;s or Graduate degree in administration, economics, science or engineering and experience in research, analysis and presentation of data.
