How to Apply: Send resume to ********@familyserviceregina.comApplication InformationEmployer Name: Family Service Regina Inc.Incorrect map location Hide the mapContact Name: Joan GunayonContact Phone: 3067576309Contact Email: ********@familyserviceregina.comEmployer Website: https://familyserviceregina.com/DescriptionFamily Service Regina, a community-based NPO agency, is currently seeking a full-time Senior Accountant for a temporary position from January 16, 2024, to March 15, 2025.Reporting to the CEO the successful candidate will be responsible for all of the accounting functions.Duties include but are not limited to:- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.- Administer payroll and group benefit plans.- Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements with variance reports.- Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.- Compile and present financial reports to various funders.- Prepare all necessary documentation for the annual audit and collaborate with external auditors as required.- Complete semi-annual GST and annual charitable returns to CRA.- Contribute to annual budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.- Collaborate in developing budgets for funding proposals.- Provide supervision to accounting technicians.- Support other organizational administrative functions as needed.We are looking for someone that is efficient, self-motivated and capable of handling a variety of tasks and attention to detail with experience and interest in working in a wide range of accounting functions.The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of experience, hold an Accounting degree, and either possess a CPA designation or be currently enrolled in the CPA program. Payroll designation would be an asset.
